How to Use Bitters
To stimulate healthy digestion, enjoy approximately 1/2 teaspoon of our bitters before or after meals-- or to curb a sugar craving (not to exceed 8 times per day)! Start small in your serving: everyone's body is different, and many people find that a very small serving can be quite sufficient. If the bitter taste is especially rare in your diet, your digestion will fire up with just a very small amount of the bitters.
If using the refillable, travel-sized spray bottle, we recommend spritzing directly onto the tongue 6 times before or after meals, or as needed to relieve bloating and indigestion.

A. Alcohol is the traditional way to extract and preserve the chemical constituents of the herbs we love. Organic, gluten free alcohol is used in these products. This is a time-tested method of making tinctures gives these products their robust taste. The serving size of alcohol is very low when you consider the dose of the product and the % alcohol. Pregnant and nursing women should avoid bitters due to the use of angelica and gentian which are not recommended during these times. Those with active stomach ulcers should also use with caution, as bitters can create further irritation. If you are taking medication or have a medical condition, consult your physician before using this product.
Q. What is the shelf life of the bitters?
A. Every bottle should have an expiration date on it. If you can't find it, please call and we can look it up by the lot # on the bottle. The shelf life is 2 years after bottling.

A game-changer!
This has been the best product I've ever had to relieve that uncomfortable "burp-y" that accompanies GERD. I put about 15 drops on my tongue or in a glass of water prior to eating and experience much more comfortable digestion than before. fewer episodes of GERD than before. I actually look forward to the taste on my tongue. Highly recommend!

Great product
This was my first time using the Bitters and I can say that it is great! My husband and I have had issues with heartburn and bloating. The Bitters have been superb in alleviating the problems. We have recently ordered the 8oz to refill our spray bottles.

nice cocktail
I love the old-school drink called a charger -fizzy water, bitters, and an orange wheel garnish. This stuff takes it up a notch- really nice before a meal and just like a real drink if you don't care for alcohol!
