Use the tester for a visual that your product is in fact grounded. Simply plug the tester into a grounded outlet. With a finger touching the metal plate on the back, push the button on the front and touch the product to be tested with your other hand. Green light means grounded! Can also be placed directly onto the product in question. Comes with a replaceable battery.
