The City-Check Basic tests for the most commonly found contaminants in water supplies. It consists of detection and reporting of 16 of the disinfectants and disinfection byproducts including chlorine, chloramine, trihalomethanes and haloacetic acids , 5 metals/minerals, 7 inorganic compounds, 4 physical factors.
The Standard is the perfect safe home water quality test kit for those on municipal water supplies where the water has been treated with disinfectants or other additives. This test includes 20 heavy metals and minerals, 7 other inorganic chemicals, 4 physical characteristics and 16 disinfectants and disinfection byproducts and 47 volatile organic chemicals (VOCs).
Our Deluxe option covers all the items included in the City-Check Standard but then adds a group of 20 pesticides, herbicides and PCBs as these contaminants are more likely to be present in water supplies relying on surface water as the source.

How it Works
Please Note: This safe home water quality test kit is shipped directly from the manufacturer. It may take up to 2 business days to process and ship your order.
Your safe home water quality test kit will be shipped to you via UPS Ground. UPS Ground delivery is typically 2 to 5 business days after it leaves the manufacturer depending on what part of the country you reside. Orders placed with expedited shipping may still take 2 business days to process.
Please collect water samples per the Instructions and return the Kit to National Testing Labs (NTL) for analysis.
Tests require overnight shipping back to NTL. Depending on your location within the continental U.S., overnight charges will range from approximately $35 to $75. These costs are not covered in the price of the kit.
You will receive test results from NTL via email within 3 weeks of receipt of sample. One of our chemists will then contact you to discuss the test results in detail.
