Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What does it taste like?
A. It adds no flavor to your favorite foods or drinks.
Q. Is it organic?
A. This gelatin is produced from the highest quality cows tested for mad cow disease. The cows are both grass and grain fed. This gelatin is processed in a way that virtually eliminates formation of glutamic acid/MSG by-products. Recommended by Sally Fallon.
Q. Is it Certified Kosher?
A. Yes!
Q. How do I use it?
A. Recommended uses include thickening soups, sauces, and stews or added to smoothies.Gelatin will absorb liquid from whatever it is added to, having a thickening effect.
Q. How does it help digestion?
A. When eaten with cooked foods, gelatin has the effect (through its hydrophillic colloids) of drawing digestive fluids into the food thereby enhancing the digestive process. Cooked foods by themselves tend to repel the digestive fluids.
Q. Does it require refrigeration?
A. No.
Q. How long will it last?
A. Approximately one year.
Q. What part of the cow is the gelatin made from?
A. It is a proprietary "B Blend" made from primarily hide, with some bone.
Q. Is it heated during processing?
A. Yes, to slightly below boiling.
Q. Are there any health benefits?
A.It is a good source of protein and contains 20 of the 22 amino acids.

Grateful to Bernard Jensen
Not only do I use it for my blackberry bliss (too exquisite to be called jello), I also put it in capsules, take daily, and no more weak, splitting fingernails. And it's kosher. What could be better?

Love it!
I love having a gelatin product that I know comes from healthy, happy cows that also tastes great and is easy on my system. It is easy to use and it doesn't take much to really gel up a recipe. This is now a fixture item in my pantry and food storage. It makes healthy, traditional eating so much easier. I also calculated that it is cheaper (and much healthier) to make jigglers and other gelatin items from this potent product than it is from the jello packs at the store. At least for me it is. Plus, I can make whatever flavor I want and keep the junk out of it.

More than a thickener
I have always used gelatin to thicken sauces and soups. Only recently I realized that it is good for thickening yogurt! Learning that it is an ingredient in the homemade baby formula helped me realize that it also aids digestion. I love that it comes from healthy cows!
