Radiant Life's Top 10 Wellness Tips

Take steps to create a lifetime of radiant wellness. Spring is the perfect season to consider weaving these top 10 tips into the fabric of your life!

  1. Find your purpose in life. Think about your passion, your bliss. It's whatever makes you feel great about doing. Energy flows where attention goes. Allow your creative energy to flow and keep your mind sharp.
  2. Establish and maintain balance with respect to all areas of life including work, leisure, family, friends, sleep and brain function. Certainly there are times in life when we feel out of balance... final exams, child rearing, job changes to name a few. However, finding the proper balance for your own lifestyle and priorities is key.
  3. Adopt a traditional, nutrient-dense diet that nourishes your body's every cell with the necessary fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients needed for radiant health. As much as possible look for locally grown, organic, unprocessed whole foods. Eat raw foods whenever you can as well as lacto-fermented foods. Strive for the highest quality foods but eat only to satiate, not to feeling full.
  4. Develop a positive attitude. Your thoughts ultimately become your reality. Inner happiness is the fuel of vibrant health! You can boost your mood by being grateful, maintaining an optimistic outlook, and by helping others.
  5. Drink pure water. Eliminating exposure to pathogens and chemicals, including fluoride and chlorine as well as other contaminants, allows the body to work optimally in all the processes it was designed for including: digestion, utilization, assimilation and elimination. You deserve to have access to the purest water available anywhere. Be sure to not over hydrate. Too much is as undesirable as too little.
  6. Breathe fresh air, enjoy the sun and commune with nature as often as possible. The beauty of nature inspires living in the present moment, rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. "Look not mournfully into the past. It comes back not again.   7. Find ways to incorporate regular physical exercise into your daily routine. No need to run a marathon or overdue it! Develop and maintain your strength by heavy lifting. Take a brisk walk or bike ride. Tend to your garden. Run fast or move quickly when you can. Incorporate cellercising for overall fitness and enhanced lymphatic drainage. You will look and feel better. Keep it fun!
  8. Develop ways to manage stress. Stress can trigger a cascade of biochemical changes that create a fertile field for disease in the body. Focus on turning negative stress into positive creativity. Many people find emotional support through connections with faith-based community groups, by spending time with loved ones or through art, music, reading, writing, etc.
  9. Minimize time wasting activities such as watching television excessively, engaging in video games or mindlessly surfing the web. Life is too special to let precious hours slip away. Think: "How can I make a difference today?"
  10. Eliminate as many toxins from your environment as possible. Take steps to protect yourself nutritionally and physically to help compensate for unavoidable exposure to heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides and EMFs.
