How to Use Coconut Flour in Your Kitchen
The dynamic texture and taste of this raw coconut flour makes it delightful to use in cooking and baking. Coconut flour is free of the indigestible phytic acid found in grain germ, and thus does not require soaking prior to use. Because the flour quickly absorbs liquid, recipes containing coconut flour will require increased liquids and generally use about 6 eggs for every 1/2 to 1 cup of coconut flour for binding purposes. You can directly substitute coconut flour for up to 25% of wheat flour by also adding in an equivalent amount of liquid such as milk or water.
