Liquid Gold for the Hair
This delightful Argan Oil Kit features three bottles of "liquid gold," or organic, fair-trade argan oil that naturally nourishes, protects and adds sheen to the hair. The women of Morocco, who've used this oil for over 5000 years, attribute their notably healthy, shiny hair and delayed graying to argan oil. Each precious glass bottle in this kit has been carefully filled with this very same superior quality argan oil: hand-extracted from the fruit of the argan tree using prized traditional practices in native southwestern Morocco.
Select essential oils have been blended in to enhance argan oil's natural moisturizing and healing qualities, as well as to contribute an aromatherapeutic effect. The tantalizing unique scents, such as the rosemary or tangerine argan oil for hair, can be used separately or combined to your liking. Each scent is gentle enough to be used for all hair conditions and is also healing when used on the skin of the face and body. Add a few drops to your hair, or massage a pump into the skin and experience all of the legendary benefits that this treasured oil has to offer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I use the Argan Oil Hair Kit?
A: Shake bottle well before use to mix ingredients. Squeeze a few pumps into hands and apply to hair to protect, repair and add sheen and a fresh scent. It goes on best when hair is slightly damp, and also works well on dry hair. Use it for a few days and your hair will look healthy and shiny, and feel silky soft. Oil can also be used on the skin of the face and body. It is particularly helpful for dry hands, feet and elbows a well as cuticles.
Q: Is this oil responsibly sourced and sustainable?
A: Most argan oils available in the US are machine extracted in a way that not only damages delicate nutrients, but also poses a serious threat to sustainability of the environment and people of Morrocco from where it is harvested. ZAD argan oil is unique in that it is handmade in small batches using traditional methods in a way that preserves the integrity of the forests, and supports the local culture and communities where it is crafted.
Q: Why so expensive?
A: About 30 kg of fruit are needed to produce just one liter of argan oil; that's the harvest of approximately 5 trees. Given the intricate process of crushing the nuts by hand, local Berber women work almost a day and a half to produce just one liter of oil. This explains the price of this original hand pressed argan oil, and the high esteem associated with this product.
Q. How is cosmetic argan oil different than culinary argan oil?
A: The fruits used to create culinary argan oils have gone through a low-temperature roasting process that builds a rich and nutty flavor into the oil. Cosmetic oils are left unheated to avoid adding any odors, flavors or scents that may be bothersome when applied topically.
I have 4 daughters that struggle with dry hair. When we use this after a shower their hair feels like it's not even their hair anymore, it's SO soft!!! They love it and wouldn't be without it.
I generously put Argan Oil on my air and left it on for a few hours, then I washed my hair using only shampoo. My usually dry hair felt soft and conditioned and had a lovely sheen to it. I also use it on my cuticles and fingernails.
This Argan Oil is the best product I've ever used on my hair. It makes my thin, fine hair feel smooth, strong and thicker. My blonde hair is so shiny after use and even feels like it has more body. I put just one pump on my wet hair, then comb it through. I am very happy this is a natural product free of chemicals. The 'untangler' I was using has so many chemicals it had to be bad for the health of my golden locks. Thank you Mira for daring to move into hair products!
