This infant probiotic powder is designed specifically for infants, toddlers, nursing or expecting mothers.
Life Start contains Bifidobacterium infantis, the most beneficial bacteria predominant in healthy infants. Life Start promotes proper digestion and absorption, encourages the formation of antibodies against undesirable bacteria, viruses and allergens. It is especially important for babies delivered by caesarean, and is recommended for both breast-fed and formula-fed babies.
Each powder serving of Life Start provides a minimum of 1 billion Bifidobacterium infantis, NLS super strain. It is made by Natren, which produces superior probiotics with the most potent and stable strains available. Natren's probiotic supplements are made from only natural ingredients; without genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or artificial colors. Natren's proprietary process preserves the probiotics in their natural state, keeping them healthy, nutritionally supported and viable.
Life Start can be taken from the first day and is recommend for children up to 4 years old. For the infant, mix 1/4 tsp. (.5 gram) with non-chlorinated water or breast milk into a smooth thin paste. Administer using a clean fingertip or apply to breast nipple and let the infant suckle. For toddlers mix this infant probiotic powder in water, non-acidic juice (e.g. apple, grape), apple sauce or yogurt.

There are several extra steps that we take in the shipping process to make sure that Life Start arrives to you in optimal form. This product will be shipped separately via UPS 2nd Day Air in a Cold-Pack Carton and does have a $25 shipping fee. Shipping of this item only happens Monday - Wednesday to avoid having the product sit in a truck or warehouse over the weekend. This item can also be shipped overnight Monday - Wednesday. Overnight orders must be placed by 10:00am Pacific Time.

Saved us $2000
My son developed a terrible case of plaque. His upper teeth were yellowed and covered in a hard coating that was embarrassing. I contacted a naturalistic dentist who said the only thing they could do is put him under general anesthesia and buff his teeth with pumice! That would have been a $2000 procedure. The worse part would have been the fact that the plaque formed within a couple month period of time so it would have just came back... Then I had an idea... Why not brush his teeth with probiotics?! It worked! The hard unsightly plaque is gone! The bacteria took care of the problem and I imagine is great for his whole system! Thank you

This product is a lifesaver! I had planned a natural birth and ended up with an emergency cesarean. Thankfully my daughter and I came out ok, but she had horrible gas issues that cause her immense pain in her first week of life. Long story short, this product is very much worth the money and the shipping cost. We saw amazing results starting the very first day of use! Her fussiness went down to that of a normal newborn (we started this when she was about 13 days old). Her bowel movements became regular and she is now only up 2-3 times a night. When the gas was causing her pain she was up 5-6 times a night and screaming like she had colic. After using the probiotics for 5 days she has been regular every single day and I couldn't be happier!
